I think a 3 team parlay would then become a two team parlay (as if you never played the "push" game)

AnkAnk is right...it is reduced down minus the push..2 teamer turns into single.

Check the rules at your particular book. There are books out there that rule ties as losses...and the odd rare book that actually rule ties as wins. I've also seen books that will cancel a 2-teamer if one part ties (ie. you do NOT get a straight play out of it, you get a refund)...but if it's a 3-teamer or more they just reduce it by one play.
