Be careful we shot over 60% and Iowa turned the ball over on the offensive end at will. I'm not sold on UNC or the over yet, but if anything i like the over. just my take.
i think its doubtful these teams combine for 182+ points on the 3rd straight day of games for both teams. no fouls at the end of this game coming either.
i should just sit back and watch but this is almost no no brainer with the +1
iowa is going to to have at the least two players fouling out and pierce may get hurt
just my experience that any total thats 80+ is tough to get without fouls and being into the bonus early.
an 80 pt half is a basket a minute by both teams.
certainly possible with the tempo unc plays at, but dont like the fact that unc has such a big lead. carolina could run away with the 2nd, score 100 pts for the game and still go under for the 2h.
nice job to those who played the over. glad i stayed away because i was damn close to playing it under 82.5. carolina's pace is just abnormal. we'll probably see a lot of totals in the 160s come acc play.
incidentally, im amazed that alford thought he even stood a chance running with the heels. what the hell was he thinking? no big ten team is ever going to beat a team like carolina playing in the 80s and 90s (and in this case, for unc, the 100s).
Good hit on the over, this carolina team is now in good enough physical shape (Sean May included) to run the court a full game. Teams that try to run it against us are crazy. I know this team inside and out...the way to beat us is simple. Force us into a half-court game where every possession matters. Our half court offense struggles we are a team meant to run.
