How do you slow down a running team?

By out-rebounding them! Simple as that.

Washington is looking at a 6?5? kid to bolster

their inside game. That might work against other

teams, but Utah is bigger than most and their

biggest guy likes to take his man out to the

perimeter, which helps spread the floor and

put Washington in worse position for

rebounding and effective transition.



Average line on Washington last season was

+0.50 points. Average line on Utah was -3. Number

seems to have swung too high on Washington, and

their best outside shooter is suspended for this

game.

Problem was UW pressure built up lead then when it got close late their pressure made Utah crack once again--rebounding didint have anything to do with the Utah's lack of being able to stop fastbreak per se ... Utah had no outside shooting either (2-8 treys and no threat anywhere from inside stripe 14-18') ... Roy and Nate are def. NBA ability ...
