Seton Hall -4.5 over URI ***
Hall is still steaming from Richmond loss.Rich shot 52% and Merrit their pt gd did nothing but penetrate the Hall and dish to Steenberge.No help side defense,breakdown after breakdown.1st game w/o Barrett,etc Whitney did have leg cramps in that game but they got beat.
Orr has worked all week on defense.Something that SH does well.
With there 3 gd attack of Copeland,Morris, and Allen this will be a problem for URI.Whitney inside is a stud and Clark will have big time post defense problems.
Sweet slashes,shoots,rebounds.
URI has 2 avg gds in Bitte and Brooks.Bitee is a freshman with a lot of promise.Hazelton is the 6'8 shooter but he plays outside.Robinson there best player is out.Losing Hellenga and Woodword lyr with no Robinson is a tough task for Baron.Mack at foward replaces them but thats not enough.
Lyr SH beat URI 79-67.
URI already lost to Maine by 3 and Manhattan by 9.They beat Brown.
Baron is a better coach then Orr but SH has to much talent.URI is not a full strength.Hall wins this on the road by 8-10 pts.Hall shoots FT's very well.
URI shooting 3's in there last 3 games were 3-10,0-6 and 10-22 vs brown.Not a good FT shooting team yet.
SH vs non conf teams ATS is 9-2.URI is already 0-2 ats and at home lyr 6-7.
Fairfield +11.5 over G.Wash *
That a lot of points when you have Gai in the middle.Stags play defense.GW is so talented though.Love there pressure defense.Everyone is like a blur out there.But Stags have those minny gds that can run from pressure.Stags played Miss St tough.GW played Wake good despite losing by a lot.
Lyr Fairfield won at home 75-67.This yr reverse that score and the stags cover.Lyr GW shot 3-14 from the 3.Stags do contest shots.And with Gai in the middle he blocks 3 or 4 and alters another 5 or 6.
Have more games but gotta run.Giants are playing.
