Ok, i do not know how to set up the commands in excel in a spreadsheet and am pretty good w/ computers and it's driving me nuts. Here's the scenario: considering I put a certain set of numbers in Column A, and then certain sets in column B, and I want column C to equal Column B + Column A.

So for example, I want cell C3 to = B3 + A3, and cell C4=B4+A4 and so on. How do I set up the commands to do that for me? I would greatly appreciate help with this it's driving me nuts!

in cell c3 type '=b3+a3' without the quotes. I hope it's that easy

That is correct, you can also use the function wizard in excel for this type of thing

If you have multiple ones your wanting it is pretty easy also, just drag the selected cell from the lower right corner down and it should copy the formula all the way down

Hi Saint,

I am not sure I understand what you want to achieve but from my best guess I would say that what you wrote is exactly what you need to write in the formular bar.

If you then want to continue this formular over numberous cells you can normally copy and paste as it should repicate the formular to suite the cells.
