Michigan State -6' 4x - the Spartan team is much more physical than Northwestern's. They will put a hurting on Hawaii on both fronts and hammer it down their throats all day long. Forget the loss at Penn State, that is just par for the course for Sparty after a big win. They are not as good as they showed against Wisconsin, but also not as bad as they showed against Penn State or Rutgers. Hawaii is playing for a bowl game, but this IS MSU's bowl game. Look for a 2-3 TD Spartain win here.

CWood: Looks like we are butting heads as well......but I have to ask you why you think this is like Michigan State's bowl game? I stated that Ohio State had its bowl game against Michigan because it was a much bigger game than any bowl they could possibly go to.....Michigan State probably realizes that they should have better athletes than Hawaii, and rightly so as they are a road chalk here.......but I dont see the motivation that you claim they will have.

Tease, I say this is MSU's bowl game because it is similar to a bowl trip and more importantly the senior's last game. They will be motivated to go out winners and redeem themselves after the Penn State mess. Are they going to be motivated like they were against Wisconsin or Michigan? No, but they don't have to be to beat Hawaii by two touchdowns.

This late in the season the week off is huge. Michigan State is far superior to Northwestern. That offensive line is awesome. Also think it helps MSU that the Wildcats lost. Smith can use that as motivation as not wanting to see the big ten get waxed back to back weeks. Hawaii will score about 35 but the Spartans will be in the 50's. Last week the Wildcats played them after their big rival. Michigan State was the only team to dominate the Badger defense, I just can't see how Hawaii stops them. Sorry to tie up your thread but I really like this game and actually had Hawaii last week as my biggest wager of the season. Michigan State Bigggggggggggggg!

Thanks for the input Greed. MSU is far superior to NW. I agree their OL is very good, but more importantly imo is the fact that they have athletes on the DL to bang up Chang. NW doesn't have anything close to resembling a defensive front.

the only team to beat up wisc. defense. Huh we're you sleeping during the Iowa Game. Thier passing and no running beat the living crap out of the badgers. Wisc was very over-rated as mich. st. and iowa showed the nation.

Miami +1' 4x - Defense wins championships. Miami's got one, Toledo doesn't. Always hate siding against Toledo Tom but the Red Hawks are the play. Gl all.
