here is this weeks column on double digit home dogs written by pete fiutak.
In the weekly tracking of my theory that, after the early part of the year, the double-digit home underdog almost always covers Last week, the home dogs had their first winning week going 2-1 with Arizona beating Arizona State, but Boise State crushing Nevada and Fresno State blasting San Jose State (NC State and East Carolina was at a neutral site). That brings the total up to 49-20 ATS over the last eight weeks. To be honest, I don't believe in the theory late in the year when great teams rally, but it's still worth noting who the double-digit dogs are to finish off the year. So as a continued public service, here are this week's offerings ...
- Louisville -28 over Tulane
- USC -22.5 over UCLA
- Cal -22.5 over Southern Miss
