here is this weeks column on double digit home dogs written by pete fiutak.

In the weekly tracking of my theory that, after the early part of the year, the double-digit home underdog almost always covers Last week, the home dogs had their first winning week going 2-1 with Arizona beating Arizona State, but Boise State crushing Nevada and Fresno State blasting San Jose State (NC State and East Carolina was at a neutral site). That brings the total up to 49-20 ATS over the last eight weeks. To be honest, I don't believe in the theory late in the year when great teams rally, but it's still worth noting who the double-digit dogs are to finish off the year. So as a continued public service, here are this week's offerings ...
- Louisville -28 over Tulane
- USC -22.5 over UCLA
- Cal -22.5 over Southern Miss

thanks, irish....good luck also.

here is some info that some might find interesting..

under phil fullmer, tenn. has never covered the spread in a game they lost.....going 0-30-1 ats.

they are also 0-21-1 ats in their last 22 su losses as a dog.

the most points that auburn gave up in a game this year was against arkansas where they yielded 20 points.

with tenn. starting their 3rd string qb, there is a possibility that tenn. might not exceed 20 points on saturday.

tenn. is 8-38 ats when they fail to score 20 or more points.

good luck.

Use all the stats and trends you want....only GOD can help Tennessee win and cover this game.....

Just not their year....but baby watch next year.....they'll have a viable shot at the National Championship...they have an array of super stars coming up.

I believe....California -22' is pretty good play..Almond is dinged up..he'll have to bring his best to beat Cal..will have more data later.

GL with your plays, AR. Teasers look good!! Unfortunately, teasers and I got a legal separation after last weeks' 0-5 showing  Can't even 'tail you on 'em, as they're out of my life :142lmao: Hope you win 'em all :)

thanks guys.....

always prayen.....

this is a copy of my post in master cappers thread...

so. fla. is a rushing dog.

pitt. is basically one dimensional.

5 of pitt. 7 wins were by 5 or less.

they have won no games on the road by more than 3 points.

it doesn't mean that because a team needs to win to get to a bowl will win......ie....

iowa st. needed to win last week to play for the big 12 championship....but lost.

boston college needed to win to get a bcs bowl.....but lost.

tcu & arkansas needed wins to get bowl eligible....but lost.

i learned that pitt. does not need this game to earn a place in the bcs....based on the big east's ratings...pitt gets in win or lose. so. fla. is going to be in the big east next year & i think they will be up for this game vs. this years leader in the big east. i think that they approach this game as their bowl game.

good luck.

bro...i don`t see a helluva lot that really tickles me tomorrow......bowl season is right around the corner....i can wait....

i hope that south fla comes through for you...it`s always dangerous when one play can crush you.....

i know you know that....and i will root very hard for so fla......

i will say that it seems a bit of a stretch for pitt to beat anybody on the road by 3 td`s.....

all the best....go so. fla...

Always love the info AR :)

for what it's worth.....

Tennessee
5-1 ATS 5-2 SU after 3 or more consecutive losses against the spread
7-4 ATS 10-2 SU after failing to cover the spread in 4 out of their last 5 games
Fulmer likes candy bars and large pizzas with all the toppings
3-0 ATS and SU after failing to cover the spread in 6 or 7 out of their last 8 games
3-1 ATS and SU as an underdog of 10.5 to 21 points
Fulmer likes to have some coffee with his sugar
7-3 ATS and SU revenging a home loss against opponent
4-1 ATS and SU revenging a home loss against opponent by 14 points or more

Auburn
0-3 ATS 2-2 SU in games played on turf
1-3 ATS 4-1 SU off a road no-cover where the team won as a favorite
The Tigers are afraid Fulmer cholesterol level may be too high
12-11 ATS 13-11 SU after a bye week
20-32 ATS 38-19 SU after allowing 100 or less rushing yards last game
Tigers will carry Fulmer onto the field before kickoff because they can here him breathing heavy when after he runs out
15-20 ATS and 19-19 SU after gaining 100 or less rushing yards last game

GL :)
