NCAA YTD: 52-47 (+3.76*)
NFL YTD: 33-34 (-1.06*)

Auburn(-12' & -13) over Tennessee (2*)
- - Opportunities to win matchups all over the field with the sustained intensity expected in a championship atmosphere. A singular Auburn team with a collective chip on their shoulder overwhelms whatever flames Fulmer fans.

Pittsburgh(-7)(-108) over South Florida (1*)
- - Pitt HC Walt Harris' credentials as a big game coach are repeatedly overlooked, especially under game day conditions when outcomes are being decided. I expected bad things for this team early on, but it was apparent to me during a loss at Connecticut that this team had turned a corner; a shocking surge off pedestrian stats is evidence of a mature and dangerous team under the coach's saddle. I'll give one score to South Florida.

Toledo(+2 & +115ML) over Miami Ohio (1*)
-- - Toledo was thought to have some issues to sort out early on, and they pulled through off a chilling start (a 21-63 drubbing at Minnesota and 14-63 thrashing at Kansas). Off the steaming momentum of last week's epic rally, the Rockets look to close the deal with revenge and take the prize Miami Ohio wants to hold on to. I'm even on board with the flock of lambs seeing the role of a +2 dog as more relevant in setting the table than coming into play in the final score.

UCLA(+22 & +23)(-108) over USC (1*)
- - About 750+ straight days of UCLA hearing how their cross-town rivals might "not put their pants on one leg at a time" overcomes any misgivings I have about the 21 days since UCLA last played . . . Fundamentally, I think UCLA is better than perceived and USC is no better than perceived. Fundamentally, I believe UCLA has forced about 13 QB sacks all season and is about -4 in TO margin, and they likely need at least 3-4 sacks/turnovers to stay competitive in this game, and I can't 'splain why I think they might get them . . . I'd say my biggest worry is that the script gets played backwards, and USC races in front before UCLA elevates their game . . . Such as it is, a young UCLA team has gelled very well and IMO could actually threaten "in this spot" by delivering a couple of first half touchdowns before Bruin's hearts get inevitably broken . . . A few distractions around the Men of Troy this week and a bright spotlight on the Bruin's young and embattled coach are noteworthy sidebars.

Colorado(+22)(-108) over Oklahoma (1*)
- - No one thing, but more an unshakeable impression building for weeks that Colorado would be a live dog if they found their way to Kansas City.
