This will be my last throw away night this week. That means that I've picked up on a few things that have influenced these plays. Example, I will play Bos giving 5 although I show them winning by 5 and Meiji has them winning by 2. If he picks the winner of the game 70% of the time then I have a good shot at Bos winning. And the line is 5 and if you follow me you know what that means. In addition, in this situation, the hometeam is 3-1 on the season to pull the line. So I'm throwing a unit on it.
Next will be Phil. Ray, before I studied this game and having seen your pick, I was going on Mem. The only thing that Mike can do tonight is moral support. But with guys this young that might be enough. I cap this game at 4. I would usually pass but this is not usual. Do not play Phil on the moneyline because I really believe Mem wins but don't cover. Maybe a 1 or 2 point game. In one situation, the roaddog is 3-1 and another situation that is 6-1 calling for the dog. Since I am going against some of my other rules I will reduce this to a 1/2 unit play.
Won't play this but want to comment on it. You know that I have been on Webber for a lot of reasons. Finally, in NO he played like I wish he would play every game. They would be almost unbeatable if he did. He didn't shoot his 20 + but settles for 6 of 11. Here's what I loved. 9 assists while doing the job on the boards. That means that he was getting the ball to his team-mates on time and the spot they needed. Miller went 10-12 and 4-5 from the foul line while everyone else benefited also. Webber has a ton of potential which he has never exploited. Do what has to be done to win a game and with the shooters he has around him, scoring is not always the answer. This line tonight looks way high but if Sac plays like they did at NO they will cover going away. As much as I respect the players and coaches at Ind for what they've done, they should be just about out of gas for tonight.
