and one less broken hand on your QB with White

and Auburn played BOTH GAMES AT HOME

you give OU both those games at home WITH their current health and they blow them both out

Why should ANYBODY be so impressed with LSU and UGA? What the hell have either team accomplished? Take a look at LSU's schedule and their wins/losses. I guarantee you will not be impressed with LSU. UGA has ton of talent but they don't play well as a team.

USC and OU would beat UGA and LSU. Especially playing both teams AT HOME!

Nebraska has a good defense? 70 points to Texas Tech, 45 to Kansas State, 34 to Iowa State. . . I'd have to disagree with you there but you'd probably try and convince me that Kansas State isn't too bad this year either. . .

I agree with Nickelback

I agree with Nickelback

I was looking forward to making a GIANT play on Auburn against USC in the title game as underdogs. Now I will have to take USC-for one main reason-BUSH-his big play ability reminds me of Peter Warrick a few years back and we all remember what type of title game he had against Va tech and Vick. Bush will score on at least one huge play and USC will beat Oklahoma.

Drew is every bit as good as Peterson.

I'm sure Drew will be drafted just as high when the time comes ;)

seen both of them play many times, along with in person: jim brown, gale sayers, paul hornung, tom matte, larry brown, et al and on TV the barry sanders, paytons, dorsetts, emmit smiths, dickerson and pony express pardner craig james, and company thru the years blah blah, whatever criteria you chose to use, you cant compare AP to MD--unless you have a sliding billy barty scale :scared

NFL draft status has nothing to do with CFB production. Peterson def. fits the NFL mold better but we are talking about CFB.

As for the line, Pinnacle opened up with USC -4.5 and now it is USC -4.

Freeze, all of Nebraskas big games were on the road this year. . . completely different competition at home so of course they looked better on defense at home but that doesn't make it decent by any means.

I appreciate the discussion tonight. . . always fun to hear other opinions and freeze you are correct obviously that OU's defense is far from weak. . . I didn't mean the way it came out but I do think their defense is weaker than their offense. . . especially when it comes to balance.

I'm just pissed because I wanted to see some new blood in there this year and Auburn was it. . . but you can't always get the dream matchup that you want and Scott knows that all to well with what happened last year

I'll wait for the line to drop if it does and take USC. . . hopefully -3 but probably not

Peterson is a stud. However, he benefits from an AWESOME OL AND A GREAT PASSING ATTACK LEAD BY AN EXPERIENCED QB WHO WON THE HEISMAN LAST YEAR. Can't say the same about Drew yet Drew puts up amazing numbers.

Drew might not be better than Peterson but I can't say Peterson is a lot better than Drew because of the advantages Peterson has that Drew doesn't.

You said you watched both players/teams play. You should know the obvious then. Don;t you see the huge holes Peterson runs through? Or is that Peterson making the holes? Again, I am not saying Peterson is not a stud. Watch how good Peterson is next year.

Just like Leinart last year had ALL DAY to throw behind the experienced OL and experienced WR's. This year he has neither. What is amazing is he put up similar numbers but the offense is not as consistent.

Does USC get a month to prepare? Didn't OU have a month to prepare against LSU last year? How did USC do in their last 2 BCS bowl games where I think they had a month to prepare?

Just kidding ya. :)

Chow's salary this year should come down to how well USC looks against OU's defense. . . I think he earns every penny after this game
