Washington (-2) over New York W
Too many injuries for New York and the strong defense of Washington make this my play. Philly had Eli scrambling for his life and I think the pressure Washington gets will be enough to force some turnovers perhaps a defensive score. The skins have decided to bench Portis but IMO that is just an attempt to motivate and when he gets in he should have some extra punch.

GB (+6) over philly L
Shootout in philly, but the revenge of the 4th and 26 should be enough to get GB's best. Green has returned to practice and Davenport is a suitable back-up against the bad philly run defense. The defense of GB is not great but they have been playing like a unit of late. They have a big run stopper in the middle and NEED to get some solid coverage from the CB's. TO will have a huge day but Farve has better accuracy than McNabb and that will be the difference.

Indy (-10.5) over Tenn W
The titans are still struggling with injuries and McNair is a shell of himself. The poor O-line in Tenn will cut short the career of a solid QB. Still in Indy the colts play very well and the offense is clicking on all cylinders. No wa Tenn has the defense to cover the indy receivers. Manning has everything intact around him to throw past almost every team. If Tenn go into a Tampa 2 and try to stop the WR's then the TE's have a big day. Just too much fire power at home.

Pitt (-3) over Jax :cursin: LLLL
Leftwhich regardless of what he says is not even close to 80% healthy. The pitt defense will pressure him and force mistakes. ALSO the steelers get a boost from Staley and Buress. Yes the bus did a great job but Staley has a homerun ability that the bus doesn't. Yes Jerome can scamper for 15 but duce can hammer the 70 yarder. Makes a difference in defensive coverage. Still Jax has a great defense and they are at home. The steelers will have to come out to play and avoid being flat. IMO Cowher can get his boys up. Big Ben has solid ability to move the offense and they should be getting a little more respect than this.

Buffalo (-3.5) over Miami W
This is a battle of defense, Miami without Thomas and Seau will have trouble against the run. No way Miami can be as productive as they were last week against this defense. The bills are a terrible road team, but IMO they are the better team in this game. Have to think that Bleedso (sp) will be under pressure all day fro the Miami d-line. He will need to make some big throws and IMO he can. Still the play is based on the running game that has been present for the bills. This aids in pass protection and play action passing. Look for TE Campbell to be a big weapon as a quick hit receiver when Drew feels pressure.

With you on 3, thanks for the write ups Irish, always good. Can't go with Wash here today. don't see much motivation there right now and Tiki Barber may be enough to swing it for giants. fairly low score here today. GL on your wagers.

Waiting on the Skins v. 49ners game to see how bad it can get for us Wash. fans. Might want to look at
Texans +7
Panthers PK

Just dont see NO showing up what so ever in this game, Jim Hasslett will be fired come Monday after Peppers has 4 sacks, blocked FG and interception to the house. Jets laying a TD to anybody is suspect, will ride Carr here thinking upset but the TD is nice. Thanks for the info.

Mr. MaCrackin....I mean Ern
I agree, I think the Jets aren't too solid but they get Penny back at the helm, that makes it a no play for me (the green at home might rally behind that). Agree on the Carolina thought:

Panthers (-0) over New Orleans WThe defense is starting to play like last years squad, they have an OK running game with goings and Dehlome has the ability to throw, especially against the bad NO secondary. McAllister has not played to form and it will be tough for him to find running room today. The o-line of NO is not good and brooks will have some turn-overs today.

Cheers
