Manhattan -13 over Siena ***** strong play
Saints are 0-6 and Lanier doesn't know how to get his kids back on track.Cuse,Pepperdine and Oregon St games were expected losses.Winthrop and New Orl were beatable but Albany upset the Saints. That is pretty bad.
They havs no front line.Haddix is a stud.Shoots inside and rebounds. One of the MAAC's best players.Jordan has been in a slump. But he is athletic and will get out of it.Mitchell the pt gd is to inconsistent. There best outside shooter Beers is still out with a broken wrist.Tai Fisher a frosh kid from my area is the top 3 pt shooter on the team. But he sustained a concussion vs Winthrop and will sit out tonites game.Mensah the frosh gd is nice but he can't shoot.Ryan the 6'7 kid hurt his ankle and might not play. That leaves Haddix by himself on the front line.Opps I forgot Sniezyk the 7 ft giant who is slow, slow, slow.
Jaspers are coming off a fairfield rd loss and the NC St game.Manhattan played with NC St until the last 8 minuts.
MC plays pressure defense in your face.Even the Wolfpack gds had trouble.Minor and wingate are in your face.Mulligan has taken over this team. His 6'5 and plays every postion including the pt.But the two super froshes 6'8 Dubois and Anderson are for real. Both hit the bds and can score.RJ is a star. Can pass, drive, rebound and play defense.Dubois around the basket is deadly. What a nice combo of 6'8 players.Kono is the shooter and freshman Xavier hit 2 or 3 bombs in the NC game.
Gonzalez plays pressure defense and wears you down.Haddix inside will have to contend with the jaspers inside the paint.and if Haddix gets into any sort of foul trouble Siena has no one.
MC beat them twice lyr 79-62 at Draddy and 72-50 at the Pepsi A.
MC is 3-1 ats this yr and Siena the opposite.Lyr MC 13-6 ats in the MAAC.Siena was 8-12.
MC should win this by 15-20 pts tonite.

Conn -12 over Mass *
Mass has beaten lil Dukies by 3,lost to NE big time, beat Bir south by 4 .Mass is much better then lyr.But Conn beat them lyr 91-67.I think Mass hangs in for awhile but don't forget,Calhoun hates Lappas. Not a big play because Conn is a terrible ats rd team.Lyr they were 6-4 SU and 1-9 ats.Conn is one Vegas's fav teams. They went 33-6 lyr yet 16-19 ats.Last four or 5 yrs ats on the rod they are 1-9,6-4,7-3,2-6,4-6 and 5-7.The 5-7 they went 34-2 SU.
I'm taking them lightly because I think can cover the 12 but not much higher.Lappas alone is good for 3 or 4 pts.

Illi -11 over Georgetown **** strong play
No way the Hoyas stay with this team. Those are some great numbers.Hoyas beat Davidson,Penn st and the Citadel.Lost to the one team that plays defense,Temple.Illi is loaded. The gds will dominate this game.Bowman and Cook GT best players would be the 7th and 12th best players on the Illi team.Illi defense will be all over Hoyas.Hoyas defense is questionable.Dee Brown will be off to the races.Perimiter shooting, rebounding, speed, etc, etc
But the backcourt will just run the Hoyas down.Thompson III is still trying to run his Princeton offense with this team. There are only 6 scholarship kids back from lyr's team.Even if Dad was sitting next to him, that wouldn't help. I have the line at -16 to 18 so I love the 11. But Illi also is not a great away ats team. But Hoyas aren't any better at home.

I forgot to mention yest in my North Texas tirade. They also shot 10 airballs vs Texas.Didn't realize it was 10 until I read the Austin Stateman on the plane home.Unreal. Fade away 3's...Sorry no more complaining..GL tonite

Bill, didn't go down to San A.We were going to go down on monday but it rained and it was overcast.God,your weather is so nice.High 60's and low 70's.
Had some great food too.I remember going to Mi Terria in San A.Great Mexican food.I remember waving the guitar player over and he played 3 or 4 songs.Everyone was telling me 'no,no".I said why..this guy is great"..Then he wanted $15 bucks for the songs. Now everyone was laughing at me as I had to pay him. GL tonite

Box, it is a GREAT town. Today it was 76 degrees and evenings on the Riverwalk are serene.

Have tickets to the Bowl and even then the weather will be acceptable. I bought the tickets when I thought the Red Raiders would come with their arial assault but I have no problem routing for the Cowboys.

Visit often, the Chamber welcomes you.
