Just had to throw that in because i know people hate hearing it. However, if you look at the game film you will see that on his first int jones was wide open in the middle of the field for a check off and would have been a field goal which any veteran would do. If you look at that last int he had keyshawn wide open in the middle for a first down. Both times he opts to throw into triple coverage instead of the guy wide open in the middle. Any veteran qb looks to the middle first. Not saying it is true just if you break down the game field you will see both times he had guys wide open in the middle, but chose to throw into triple coverage. Looks rather odd to me especially with no pressure on the qb. So whatever you think you think. I saw two int that maybe a pop warner qb would throw.

guru,
I'd have to agree that Testaverde is one of the greatest "fixit" qb's that's ever played. I've seen that guy pull brilliant stunts with Cleveland and the Jets. I'd rank him right up there with ol Mark Rippen and the great "fumble artist" Warren Moon.
Dan,
The guy makes 5 mill a year because he IS that "GOOD".
Early call for next week....SAINTS plus the pts at Dallas and the total to go UNDER. I'm pretty sure Testaverde will get a chance to work his magic next Sunday.

Out There
I'm certainly not a Vinny Testacles Fan but I don't believe we would have even come close to a win if Drew was on the mound.

I will admit that I saw those plays you mentioned as clear as day. It made me scatch my head as well. On one of his INT, whoever was in the middle at the time was sitting in a lawnchair drinking a margarita and waving a sign, "VINNY, I'M OPEN!" :sadwave:
