I got Marquette +1 at VIP...

Looks like the public continues to jump on the Badgers..

Anyone think this goes to +2? I have a feeling that Marquette takes this outright, but would love to get 2.

Looks like the Badgers are favorites at most sites now. What is the rule (if there even is one) if the favored team switches? Is it still a system play?

Personally, I think the Badgers should win by 10-12. But I've been around long enough to know how these system plays usually turn out...

I've never heard of any rules regarding this particular system when the line moves. Usually if the team is favored by 3 or more, you don't have to worry about it switching the other way so we never really see it.

I believe its still a system play since Vegas installed Marquette as the favorite. Even though the public is on Wisconsin, you still gotta shake your head a little since the line move is so significant. We'll just have to see what happens.

Best of luck. . . the system plays haven't been doing well so you may be correct

Careful on Marquette they will have no answer for Badgers inside. Diener will have a good game but will be so worn out last 5 minutes of the game which Badgers take over pull away and win by 8.

i really like the marquette play the more i look at it. but i must say that in no way do i think the public is on wisconsin. the post-wade marquette hoops teams get much more exposure, and theyre coming into this one at 8-0, which is sometimes all the casual capper looks at. im in at marquette -1. hope they win for us. but im not in for any anti-public reasons. go eagles.

Nickel I totally agree with you. Been getting beat up so far on these system games, but they all have been close and could have went either way. You tell me Florida would shoot the three like that and I would say no home team usually shoots the three that bad. Even the worse teams in the land shoot better from the arc at home. It is not like any of those three were really even contested shots. They were wide open looks. Florida had every chance in the world to win this ballgame. It was the right play just could not account for that kind of three point shooting

Guard Travis Diener scored just eight points while playing with a sore right ankle on Tuesday. He's going to face the 1st real defensive front this year.

Marquette is 2-3 all-time when playing a ranked Wisconsin team.

Marquette couldn't cover at home (with short lines) against the likes of Air Force or Kent St.

Marquette has allowed almost 63 pts/game against weaker talent while Wisco has av 69 pts/game against much better.

I think Wisco pulls away a win in the second half in a low scoring affair. I haven't done much in hoops to this point so the Warriors are probably the right side. LOL
