Well, Hank has been hot lately & finally had the breakout week as he went 10-3 to go 4 games over .500 for the season, 66-62-4. His ESPN picks were 4-2 and he is 13-5 the last 3 weekends.
Hammer says "Don't fear the big number" as December double-digit dogs are 13-25-1 since 2000. He also discusses & froths at the mouth over the thought & possibilities of Jeff Fisher being the next Dolphin coach.
THE PICKS:
NE/CINN PASS
BUFF- They have covered 5 of last 6 and are are averaging 37 PPG the last 4, have covered 4 straight ATS at home, but 0-7 ATS following Dolphin games.
BALT NYG had 7 first downs last week and have 16 points in 12 quarters under Manning. Balt needs the game badly & Lewis will play some.
GBAY To rebound. They beat Detroit 38-10 in week 6 and the Lions traditionally play terrible in
Wisc., losing 7 of last 8 there (& I think he said no wins since 1991)
MINN plus the Over. Sea is badly coached & has no character.
OAKLAND Not too much interest in the game, Atl has only covered 1 of last 5 at home.
CHICAGO Perfect spot for a Jax letdown.
NORLEANS Dallas D is terrible, NO could win straight up. Likes the Over in a hi scoring affair.
INDY are averaging 45 PPG last 4.
PITT Won't take NYJ without Abraham. They are 1-9 ATS vs. Pitt the last 10 and have scored only 5.5 PPG the last 6 games against them.
DENVER Miami is 4-19 on the road in December. 3rd of last 4 out west for Miami. Broncos to run & blitz.
AZ-SF No comment.
SD Doesn't like the game, noting Tampa is 2-9 ATS the last 11 on the road.
PHIL Knows how to win in prime time.......acknowledges the game is meaningless for Phil.
K CITY
I would think that BALT, NO & DEN would be the 3 best choices for ESPN. Also PITT.
I will try to post those picks on Sunday.
GL....................THE HITMAN
**I missed putting CAROLINA on, sorry.
