yesterday: lost duke/toledo.
10-2 gm totals after that dud sunday night.
denver pioneers over 138
last game of a season-opening 7-gm road trip for stanford tonight. cardinal have been all across the united states, from maui to michigan. very tough environment to finish up in though (at altitude against a smaller conference team that is solid at home and capable of winning). im one who believes the quick turnaround games (within 48 hrs, especially on the road) favor the offense, as the defensive intensity is usually non-existent. throw in some elevation and i think we'll see even less from stanford. pioneers shoot the 3 very well, and theyve failed to put up less than 79 at home this year. obviously stanford is a much stiffer test, but cardinal far from playing their best ball right now. this one should finish in the 70s and denver very capable of winning this game. game probably should be a pick 'em.
