Went against the BB team last night & cashed . Will cash with the football team tonight.Liked the way this team went on the road to BC and just beat them up, it surprised me,look for the same tonight.Take the +5 and the over 44...syracuse will get 30 @ least, don't know what the (D) will do.

no way the Cuse hangs 30 on GT - maybe in 4OT ?

GT wins Su and probably covers as Syr is an average team from an average conference whose only quality win is over BC who was without a QB and was looking ahead to the BCS - I predict a combined 4-5 turnovers in what should be a low scoring game unless the TO's result in a short field - regardless, both offenses ae so bad that they'll probably turn it right back over - this will be an ugly game.

Save your money for other bowl games JMHO

Tell me what was GT'S quality win? you pk one. samford or clemson or maryland or duke or nc st or conn. you are right syracuse is an average team from average conference, whos best joined & kicked acc ass all year.GT may not score much, but Syracuse has put up point on average teams like GT all year.

Don't be fooled by SOS #'s...I don't care what the #'s say; both teams SOS are =. The old big east has been better than the ACC the last few years.

 I agree, The Orange will roll tonight, I'm taking the Orange for 10 units, and the over for 8 units b/c my only concern is if that below average G. Tech can score any points at all. This should be another easy bowl game for a big east team who gets no respect. I also love the Cuse in the first half. The Cuse will be ahead at halftime. :)

Coach P has been money in bowl games. He has always been very good when he has time to prepare. He is not good at making game time adjustments.

Syracuse has made steady improvement all year ( with exception of Temple game where they ran into a hot QB) after debacle in Purdue and lack luster effort in Buffalo to start season.

They have two game breakers in the backfield and an aggressive, ball hawking secondary. Front four is average with Wyche being a pro prospect and linebackers have improved greatly the second half of the year.

Special teams have been solid, especially punt blocks and kick returns. Place kicking is the biggest weakness on ST.

One factor not to overlook is Coach P being given a vote of confidence and will return next year. To a player, they love this guy and I expect them to play with a lot of fire tonight.

Syracuse plus the points.

The chancellor has pubically supported the return of Coach P and will have a major part in the hiring of the AD, so I think the writing is on the wall.

I should have worded it different but I still believe that players will be all out tonite in support of a coach that they want back.
