Wednesday St joes at ODU

Odu laying nine. I do really like to play on ODU but this is not a good spot.

I have Odu 64 at home to St Joes 58 on the road.

ODU should not be favorite more than 3 here IMO.

not sure about this one clem. think its also a little high but st joes is pretty bad this year. i am a st joes alum ('04) and have seen basically every game for the previous four years. won big against them in the kansas game and have laid low since then. if they can hit some 3's then i think they will cover the 9 but they struggle on the road. was hoping for a 5 pt line or less on this one to hit odu hard but think im gonna pass. i can't remember if it was last year or 2 years ago but we played them on at their place and were dd fav's and won by like 3. jeff capel gets the team ready and i think it'll be a dd victory for odu but not enough for me to take them laying 9. pat carroll can't seem to get in a rhythm. dwayne jones is playing quite well inside but i thought stachitas/carroll would have good years. im not too familiar with odu's style of play, are they good inside? jones/bryant are solid defensively but can't score outside of 6 feet. good luck with the play im gonna pass on it and root for the hawks.

Men's Basketball Returns to Action at Old Dominion on Wednesday

NORFOLK, VA - The Saint Joseph's men's basketball team returns to action after a break for final exams traveling to Old Dominion on Wednesday, December 22. Game time is 7 p.m. for the contest which will be televised in Philadelphia on CN8 and in Virginia on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic.

The 3-3 Hawks haven't played since a December 11 loss at San Francisco. Old Dominion is 10-1 after Monday night's 88-56 win over Longwood.

For the Hawks, leading scorer Chet Stachitas is possible for the game after suffering an ankle sprain at San Francisco and will be a game-time decision. Junior forward Dave Mallon could see his first action of the year after missing the first six games with a stress fracture in his foot.

Stachitas tops the team in scoring with 13.7 points per game, while Dwayne Jones is averaging 12.7 points and 12.0 rebounds. In the NCAA statistics, Jones ranks fourth in the nation in rebounding and 10th in blocked shots with his average of 3.3 per game. Pat Carroll is averaging 10.8 points.
