Everyone saw the pats lose unexpectedly to the dolphins monday night due to a couple of uncharacteristic throws by Brady and a weakened secondary through the absense of Ty Law and co. Think this was just the wake-up call the pats needed heading in to the playoffs and that a re-focused brady will get the job done here tomorrow. On the flip side, the jets have been playing great and with pennington back at the helm, things are running smoothely for the offense. The solid 'O' line and 'D' are helping greatly also and with their big win over seattle last week, everyone is licking their chops at taking the jets as home dogs tomorrow. The pats IMO will rebound from mondays debacle and get back to their winning ways.
The panthers are the other game I see great value in. TB has beaten ordinary teams at home (with the exception of atlanta) thus far and run in to a hot carolina team that have played great over the past 8 weeks or so and lost in a solid effort on the road last week. TB's playoffs were all but stripped due to last weeks gag against the saints while the panthers are still well and truly alive in the NFC wild card race. I believe that this game will be pretty close all day and if it comes down to a field goal, I like the team who is more desperate for the win and is getting 3 points in the process. Any thoughts welcomed!
