cleveland state vikings over 162

vikings are running into a buzzsaw here. even though csu is significantly better than last year, theyre still gonna get murdered tonight. in the end, they will be better because of the ass kicking that carolina will lay on them. it wouldnt surprise me to see carolina drop 100 on garland's boys. the fact that cleveland state almost upset (in fact SHOULD have upset) carolina at the convocation center last year eliminates any chance of carolina taking csu lightly. csu has enough shooters (moss, gansey, niakate) that they can score 65 or 70 themselves. problem is, carolina is gonna run their defense (or lack thereof) in circles. vikes have always been atrocious defensively away from cleveland.

line dropped on this total down to 159, but im still confident this one goes over. everything ive read and heard leads me to believe garland is not going to slow this game down. he mentioned the only way to compete with carolina is to get out and run and try to score easy baskets and that if you slow it down, theyll trap you to death and force turnovers. while hes right in a sense, trying to run your mutts against their thoroughbreds can be a recipe for disaster. but hell, i dont care if they lose by 40 as long as it goes over the number, lol.
