michigan wolverines (+7)
michigan wolverines moneyline (+250)
michigan 2nd half (+4.5) (even) (posted in HT thread)
horns sprint to the regular season finish line combined with michigan's lame performance in columbus makes for a bit of an inflated line here imo. if wolverines get dominated in pasadena by 7+ pts in two straight years then ill be the first to give props to texas. big 10 was nothing special this year, but no secret that ive felt michigan is much better than anyone in the conference. also feel like when michigan plays to their potential, theyre a top 5 team. i think theyll play like it today.
utah utes (-13.5)
utah utes first quarter (-3)
add: utah 3rd quarter over 13.5 (-145)
precipitous line drop in this one, but really believe utah lays an ass beating on pittsburgh. although this is the first of what should be many bcs appearances by a meyer-coached team, i really think the utes want a dominant win to close out their record-breaking year. no secret that teams with coaching controversies/departures have not fared well this bowl season but it seems like the utah players genuinely want to play for meyer and they pretty much knew his promotion was inevitable. looking for a fast start in the 1st quarter (a trademark of meyer's teams) and a dominant effort on the national stage. utah is every bit as good as their ranking.
