fitting for Buddy, the poet who doesn't know it.

I've been banned from having birthdays
A new rule has been made
Signed ,sealed and delivered
By the local Fire Brigade!
They say that all those candles
Would create such a blaze
They'd have to come and put it out
And stay around for days !

Happy birthday, buddy.

Budmeister:

After your last post, I must take serious issue with Chopsticks appreciation of your alleged sense of humor you ambulance chasing lowlife. Everyone on this board will be quite upset when the Ed mans name is solemnly bantered about the Hamilton County Probate Court.

Yesterday, you came one step closer to having moi filing an application to probate your will in Pittsburgh so that you can divy up that 17k that makes up the entirety of your estate to your 11 ex-wives.

Edward,

Rather than keep everyone amused with your witty replies and legal diatribe, I think it would be far more entertaining for all of us if you would learn to handicap and offer your picks for our consideration. Then we could make comments like:

1. Ed, what the %^&@ were you thinkin'? I thought you were intelligent?
2. Given the result, let's see you defend that pick, counselor?
3. Eddie, I saw your pick, the final score and just spit half my dinner out of my mouth onto my monitor and shot the other half of my dinner out of my nose onto my keyboard. Have some mercy.
4. "All rise (but don't giggle). The Honorable Edward Haskell has just entered the forum".

Cute Buddy, cute.

Pray tell, why should I share my picks with a bunch of degenerate gamblers? The few, well thought out, prognostications that I have made in pro-football, college football and college basketball provide an extra source of income for me as well as some distractions from my most active and full life.

I don't pick every game and base my selections on facts, stats, inside information, local knowledge and, of course, my intellect. Thats why over the past two years I am 90% overall (9 out of 10) and have brought in a tidy 270k. After I beat up two bookies they retained me to file a chapter seven petition.

In the spirit of the season and because I like you, I'll give you tonights winner. Bet the farm on Auburn on the money line. I don't think they will cover but believe Tuperville will want a perfect season and a right to claim the national title. Also have a strong lean on the under.

Now go out and do some good in the world.

Eddie
