Miami Ohio opened a -3 vs Iowa St...by kickoff, Iowa St was a -2... ISU won by 4

North Carolina opened a -3 vs Boston College...by kickoff, Boston College was a -1...Boston College won by doubles

Alabama opened a -3.5 vs Minny...by kickoff, game was pk...Minny won by, i forgot, but they covered

USC opened a -3.5 vs Oklahoma...right now, Oklahoma is -1...Oklahoma won by.....

:)

northern illinois opened at -1....by kickoff, troy was -3.

troy got smashed.

bowling green opened at 4.5. by kickoff, it was down to 3.

memphis got smashed.

utah opened at 17. by kickoff, it was down to 13.5

pittsburgh got smashed.

just playing devils advocate.

although to your point, line moves across 'zero' have been profitable for the most part.

across zero yes, 3-1 not to shabby as bg and utah do not fit the bill.

As far as the consensus goes for this game I believe it is almost dead even.

Espn shows a 55% edge for USC (over 550,000 votes).

Reason for line movement is sharp money on OU. Game should have opened a pk, no reason for one team to be favored. USC's sexy offense was the only reason for the opening line.

Funny how it seemed the anti-USC stance betting-wise and on the forum started when Cal lost to Texas Tech.

Obviously, if a totally unmotivated, wide- receiverless Cal team (who, when healthy, outplayed USC on their homefield) got crushed by Texas Tech, just no way USC could compete with Oklahoma.
