I actually think the Pack have an outside chance to go to the SB. They started 1-4 but finished strong going 9-2. If Green Bay just makes it to the final the possible payoffs are huge.(Olympic)

Steelers vs Packers +2015
Patriots vs Packers +2075
Colts vs Packers +4950
Chargers vs Packers +9550

$100 across the board?

I could actually see GB winning at Atlanta, which is where they would go next. The Falcons really do not impress me a whole lot. They strike me as the team that reverts to about 7-9 or 6-10 next year. (There are a couple of teams like this every year & they look like prime candidates for that role to me). It would not surprise me in the least to see Atlanta go "one and done" against ANY of their potential opponents.

But then after that...can the Pack win in Philly? I'd say no. They got murdered there this year and that should screw with their heads. Not to mention they are just nowhere near the talent level of the Eagles, even without TO.

However... is there a chance Philly loses before this matchup ever happens? It'd be either Seattle or St Louis pulling off the upset. Seems unlikely, but with the Eagles players not having played a meaningful game in a month + TO's absence...well, I guess it ~could~ happen. For the Rams that would mean winning B2B road games. (Not sure I see them doing that). For the Hawks, it would mean them coming through in the clutch for a change. (Not sure I see them doing that). But if it DID happen the Pack would be hosting Seattle or St Louis for the NFC Championship (assuming GB beats Atl). Suddenly the odds of them making it to the Superbowl don't look so bad.

To me it really depends on whether you think one of those teams can beat Philly, because I think if the Eagles are not rusty and win their first game, they beat the Packers pretty easily next.

I read somewhere teams that won their final 3 regular season games won their first playoff game 70% of the time.

This makes me wonder about the Eagles. I dont like the fact that the Philly is going into the playoffs on a low. Granted they didnt play their regulars but I would be interested to see a historical record of a team losing its final 2 games.

Thats not a smart bet even if you win it........

#1 they have to beat Green Bay at hm .....they will probably be like a seven point fav.......

#2 they will then have to go to Philly and there they will definitely be an underdog.....so

if they win both of these games you would have been better off betting game 1 and rolling it over into the second game.........this would pay better than 2-1 in my opinion......the only way this would work out for you is if Philly was to get upset and the NFC cham game was in Atl.

I like your bet, I also see some value in the packers making it to the superbowl, but I think it would be smarter if you just parlayed the 400 on the packers moneyline throughout the playoffs. They are now -270 against minn and will be at least +200 against atl and at least +300 at phil. This way it doesn't matter if the broncos or jets make it to the super bowl and the payoff will be better if they face the Pats or the steelers as they probably will. I think it will payoff close to $10,000.

Green Bay will win two games. They could beat Philly - heck who knows if Philly will win their first game as they are back to last years offense and everyone will have been off for close to a month. And Philly stubs, the suddenly GB is at home for the NFC title game.

How can Atlanta be next in line for homefield advantage after they lose?

Sun is saying that if GB beats Atlanta and Philly loses, the championship game would go back to GB

FYI Atl is +350 @ Sportsbook.com
Maverick2112 sounded right in his reply to you. But, better yet since you like them so much, why not bet Atl @+1400 to win the Super Bowl. If they win the NFC champ game, then bet the AFC ML in the Super Bowl and guarantee yourself a win or break even. JMO

Green Bay

Green Bay

A Packer fan who can't see it happening. That defense will not allow it to play in the Super Bowl. This team is 27 defensively and is last in forcing turnovers. The running game has not been as effective as last years team because of the absence of Flanagan and Green's injuries. They have won to many games on last minute field goals due to the inability of the defense to stop anybody. The Packers had problems playing versus Vick two years ago as he was too quick for that defense. Good luck to you but I just can't see the Pack doing it.
