this just in, the players are folding, they will hold a players rep meeting, where they will agree to go back. they will play a 48 game conference play only, till the cup. let's hold our breath. :clap:

it was comcast out of philly, with a report with some one from the maple leafs organization. they broke in with it so... to me it sounded pretty solid. maybe some toronto guys can find some stuff out, i'm sure they are talking about it up there. :clap:
Excellent news. Wonder how this will effect the european leagues with everyone leaving at once. I'm ready, I actually miss it more than I thought I would.
the players reps are going to have a conferece call early next week, they are all in agreement to come back, most of the players have already left europe, you will hear about it. :clap:
Not to rain on the parade, but it's not the players who have to agree to come back, it's the owners who have to take them back since the players are locked out, not on strike. In any event I hope your right, but I think the ship has sailed on this season either way.

The NHL Board of Governors meeting planned for Jan. 14 in New York has been cancelled. :bigear:
NHL Executive Vice President Bill Daly said there was consensus that a meeting was not necessary.
"The clubs were unanimously of the view that there is no need for a meeting at this point in time," Daly said.

the report that i saw was from Bob Simpson host of Maple Leaf America out of Toronto. can the Toronto guys check into this. not to mention, the meeting that they were suppose to have to announce that the season is over, has been cancelled, maybe that has something to do with what i saw?? who knows.
