Taking a shot at 'capping what should be the best game of the night.
I like to challenge myself sometimes with games like this.
So here goes...

USF -1 over Loy Marymount
A WCC opener between two tough teams.
LMU returns home after playing 5 straight road games. They win games by capitalizing on turnovers & shooting 3's. LMU has a better shooting % from the 3 pt line then from the field in their last 3.Their key player Matt Knight avgs 15.8 ppg, but it is their bench scoring that has kept them in it.
LMU is 17-1 under Coach Aggers when they hold opponents under 60. I don't feel they will be able to hold the Dons to that.
The USF Dons avg better then 70 ppg and have been holding teams to 33% from the 3 pt line (4th best in WCC)
USF's last out was a 4 pt win over Penn. Doesn't seem like much but they were shorthanded in that one and were up by 15 in the 2nd half.
SF gets John Dukes and possibly former starter Andre Hazel back tonight. Players with experience like theirs helps bolster a team and keep leads, also WCC leading scorer John Cox only had 10 pts in that game.
John Cox will be playing in his 100 career game for the Dons tonight. USF has won the last 12 vs. the Lions and hopefully get the BAKERS DOZEN

Good Luck to all on any game you play.

Keep an Eye on this conference as they only have 1 team under .500 coming out of their non-conf schedule. The WCC (not west coast choppers)
is ranked as high as 8 in conf strength and WILL suprise those who don't know at Tourney time.
