Sorry to hear that. Pretty good folks those Amish! I never did understand their lifestyle..but to each his own. They're definately the hardest workers I've ever seen.

Good to see that the 'horse pulling the wagon' wasn't injured.

Was thinking the same thing, lol! A boy died from a tragic accident, but his horse didn't sustain injuries. Uhh, who cares? Glad that line was slipped in to satisfy all those wackos that equate animal lives with human lives.

You're right, that was a very ironic story. Sad stuff, and I think it was an honest but deadly mistake. Sorry to hear about it.

That is tragic, but i have seen and heard of alot of these accidents, but not like this, usually involving cars and buggies..

Was working one day in bedford, indiana and seen the torn up buggy and the dead horse in the middle of the road, the cops shot the horse to put it out of it misery, still have that picture in my head..

I work alot up in northern indiana also, lots of amish... Believe it or not amish like to party and they get real drunk and guess what happens... The horse always knows his way home, but the horse does not know to stop at stop signs.. to say the least alot of amish and horses have died from drunk amish partiers... sad situation..
