Anyone have a suggestion for booking travel arrangements and hotels for Vegas? I am thinking about taking a trip there in late Feb or early March and will be traveling with one other person.

check out the message board header Hotel Offers and Discounts...usually lists all of the updated deals...some great deals at some great spots
for airfare I usually use the Fare Watcher function on Travelocity...usually the best deals come thru on Wednesday AM when the airlines release inventory. There are usually always deals for Vegas flights, particularly if you have a JetBlue, DeltaSong, or Southwest nearby. AmericaWest has great fares right now from West Coast cities.

been to vegas twice and have stayed at mirage and caesars. thought mirage was nicer, had better luck at the tables there. would like to stay at bellagio next time.
Hey there it depends on where you want to stay or how much you want to spend I am going also but not for pleasure unfortunately food show so I guess it is pleasure. Anyway try Continental.com I got ticket there for 179 RT from Syracuse. And here is a nice site with reviews on Vegas all of Vegas, cheapovegas.com
Personally, i prefer staying downtown. I've had the 'strip' experience a few times (which is definately necessary), but have found the downtown area to be much more enjoyable. Just seems the people are friendlier and the atmosphere is a little less touristy. I got a second floor room with a view of Fremont at the Golden Gate a couple of years ago and thought it was great. Sure, the room was not as nice as some of the places on the 'strip' but hell, I don't go to Vegas to stay in my room anyways. Just my opinion
