made some stupid plays earlier in the week, but atoned for them on saturday (4-1 with main one on wisc-milwaukee).

west virginia (pk)

ill give credit where its due -- boston college is certainly playing well. but the fact remains that they have had to orchestrate three 2nd half comebacks in their last four games to remain unbeaten. they trailed kent state by double digits in the 2nd half before coming back, trailed uconn by 7 at half before coming back, and trailed providence by 10 with 15:00 left before coming back. west virginia got a reality check when they made a quick appearance in the top 25, but this is still a solid team capable of cracking the polls again at some point. bc's undefeated run will end here.


michigan state (pk)

wisconsin has dominated michigan state lately. swept all three games last year.
have won the last five overall.
is carrying a long home winning steak into this gm.

....and theyre not even favored.

that tells me a lot.

i respect the hell out of bo ryan and the way he prepares his team. but i love michigan state's balance this year. msu wins.

actually i tailed your baylor, nickel's dayton, and bgfalc talked me into wmichigan. and then on a complete whim i tried fresno on the moneyline (didnt post) but i guess the kid for fresno hit an off-balance 30-footer for the win at the buzzer. that kinda sums up my day in hoops (in a good way). gave back a play on rams under in nfl, but not complaining. you were dead on with baylor and made my decision to play the bears an easy one. thx.

great day regardless...love WVU tomm myself, BC is a bit worn out from that string of big wins in Big East play, and I think they let this one go tomm with a tough WV squad thats been faltering the last few games, and should right their ship tommorow...Gotta love Dudley on BC though, known him since I was 7, the kid is a stud and im glad to see him balling it up at BC...best of luck G

That said .. They will not be afraid or in awe going to Morgantown..
To come back on Uconn in Hartford is tough to do and the team has banded together and has a chip on their shoulder (no press.. no respect stuff)

BC has pulled some Houdini acts so far this year but I think its the right time and good spot for a WVU team that was ranked and faultered to prove they are a good squad (how do you lose to Marshall???)

normally would just sit tight, but i really am confident about west virginia taking this game after the way everything went in the 1st half. not thrilled about them turning a 24-17 lead with 5:00 left into a 29-all tie at half but that just gives me a chance to get more wvu at essentially a pick 'em.

Seriously, that's ridiculous. . . they hang tough for the first half and even up by 7 with 5 to go, 6 with 2 to go then fold those leads, now fold the game 5 minutes into the 2nd half. Strange

W.Virginia looks for the 3 FIRST in their offense. If they are cold.... They set 100 picks and most are just switched on with no result. SOFT defense. W/BC's foul trouble, they should have been going to the hoop in the 2nd instead of settling for js's. Methodical and boring to watch. How were they ever ranked??
