Tons of people here are already throwing down on New England, and maybe rightly so, but mostly because of the performance of the two teams this past weekend, the Steelers, in all honesty played a bad game on offense and were very lucky to still be playing, this really sticks out like a sore thumb to the bettors on this board, and if thats a sore thumb then the performance by New England sticks out like a severed head, BUT WHY? Look deeper at the team they beat, a very average to below average road team, seriously.

Indy was 5-3 on the road this season beating teams with a combined 17 games under .500 record!!! Was the home win in those conditions really that impressive considering Indy's past performance on the road?
The Jets road losses were all to teams with winning records, including the Patriots who just squeeked by tham at home.

New England should have won this game going away, and they did, but I don't think it was the giant slaying everyone is making it out to be, especially if you throw in the usual choke job Payton does this time of year.

The real wildcard here is coaching where New England certainly has a big advantage, but it will have to be Belichick winning this game before it is ever played if New England want to continue the dynasty.

The win was not impressive to me. Indy didn't play well.

If Indy was putting up points, i think that N.E. would have matched them stride for stride. I think the Pitt game will be more entertaining.
