I would say some media being quoted almost everyday by Algezeera ie NYT running prison scandel on front page--and posters here who can't wait to putup body counts or anything they think is negative on war for 2 years and have yet to put a positive fact---is a pretty good confirmationof my claim.

Where conservatives and liberals differ I supported Clinton and the troops for his move into Somolia only his decision to cut and run afterward did I diss him.
and I was just as pissed and adamant at Bush senior and Swartzkoff as I have stated many times for their lieing to Iraq's and then cutting and running.
If Kerry was elected my view on war would not change a bit--and I would back him and the troops equally--only if he pulled a Bush Sr would I climb on him for the war.

I support them in their job--and their job is to finish the business they started. Who doesn't want them to go home or never have to go to war--but if that was possible we wouldn't need a military.
Maybe best way I reinforce my feelings to you is I volunteered to extend my tour in Nam and its not because I was a believer in the war but simple wanted to get an early 90 day out of service.Did I want to come home, sure.Was it a priority,no.Did the thought of refusing to go or obey an order ever enter my mind--absolutely not.Do I wish I could have drug some officers in the rear that made irrational decisions endangering lives out to the field with us--Hell yes.
Bottom line--when your sworn in you take an oath--you do your job the best you can--covering each others ass to the best of your ability--and leave the whining and boo-hooing to Jodie and the word warriors back home
