I live about seventy minutes from Pitts and I am pretty much snowed in and the forecast for tomorrow is a winter weather storm watch. This plays right into the hands of Steelers smash mouth football, expect to see Bettis and deuce carry the ball on at least 70% of the Steelers snaps and have good success particularly in the 2nd half. Dillion will be a factor but not as much as everyone is assuming, if you watched the first game the Steelers completely dominated the PATS and while NE was banged up for that game other than Dillion whom have they got back to make a great difference? If anything the loss of Seymour will really open up the running game for the Burg! In my heart I would love to see Pittsburgh lose but just cant see it happening.


Falcons+5
I know DOME teams suck outside but the Falcons are not your typical dome team as they have a smash mouth running game and Vick opens it up further by exploiting the perimeter of the defense. Philly looked pretty good against the most dysfunctional team in the NFL (Vikings) but the Falcons have a vastly superior defense when compared with Minny.

at this point can't dewcide on a side.....

made a big bet (for me) sunday night on the under 42 in the philly game....

may either take pitt on the ml or under in the 2nd game....

Do you really think the weather and snow is going to effect New England that much?

N.E. is just as much comfortable with the crapy weather as is Pitt.

But i think your right about the "smash mouth" aspect of this game. Who ever plays the most physical should pull out the victory.

I dont believe that NE doesnt know how to play in the snow but I feel that it is more of an advantage for Pittsburghs big backs. Dillion's track record against the Steelers has not been good, but he was also on some rotten Bengal teams.

Well I also live about the same distance from Cleveland and have always been a Browns fan and take my lumps each year following such a rotten franchise as the Browns. I will always have a soft spot for the Steelers as both the Steelers and bills were the only two teams that actually stood up to Art Modell and oppossed his hijacking of the Browns franchise. When you grow up a Browns fan it's hard to root for the Steelers!
