Has anyone turned on this shit channel and seen anything else than the RoadRules/RealWorld challenge at anytime in the last 2 years :mj07:
I know its old news that MTV really doesnt play any videos cept for your occasional rap crap ( no offense to rap fans). But cmon , I have seen nothing but this Road Rules challenge crap for the last 2 years straight. OK enough of my crying , thats my 2 cents for the night

It's truly amazing how a channel thta was the greatest thing going, right out of the blocks, has completely imploded itself..............Haven't watched it in years, probably the last time there was a video with a guitar in it....................... :cursin:

Totally agree. All they show now is RR/RW challenge, pimp yo ride gangsta, and cribs. The only gratifying thing I have seen is that one of those "rappers" got busted by the IRS or something on Cribs for not reporting the cars he had. I miss Kurt Loder's MTV News.

Well, the shit they show now, must be what the kiddies wanna see!

Every once in a while I will watch some "Real World", because it is anything but! What's so "real" about a half dozen or so punks being shacked up in an apartment that would cost about 5 grand a month to rent, but they get it for free? What's so "real" about giving them jobs, and seeing how they manage to cope?

It is fun to see how mature, and grown up these kids think they are, though!

As for videos, maybe there just isn't anything worth filming anymore?

It is a kids network now, it is a R rated nickelodeon! The programing (if you can call it that) is out right sad. However MTV executives are geniuses, because even though we all think it is rubbish, we all know the shows and have watched once or twice. You all are right on the money about how bad it's gotten. But I have got to say this, the other night I was flipping though stations.... I get to MTV it is some huge party, I was wondering who was having such a bash. THATS WHEN I FOUND OUT :scared
The show is called something like "my sweet 16" these kids had a party, I kid you not it made Paris Hilton look ordinary. I sat there for 15 mins watching the end of the show, mouth gaping thinking to myself what the F**k happened to the world. They were turning uninvited kids away in droves, and other kids made FAKE invites. It was just two average girls in highschool?? I was just blown away.... (just my 2 cents)

I used to enjoy it (some 20 years ago) and loved to watch Nina Blackwood spin the vids. Wow, she was hot ! But now it is pretty sickening utter rubbish........I even have it deleted from my channel selector. As Jim would say, it is not MTV anymore now it is NTV or BET2.
