eagles vs panthers...better opponent

philly has a better def for sure, but the front four for carolina was pretty good.
panthers had a better offense : better receivers (smith, muhammed, proehl), better running backs (davis, foster) , qb ? not sure as delhomme was hot as fire last year.

ne is a more complete team with dillion this year than last year.

can the defence from philly be the difference ? i think t.light can be beaten. how good is the philly secondary ? do not think so many defenders can be committed to the line as we saw against atlanta.
can philly run against ne ? levens a factor ? westbrook should be able to get his, but will it be enough? roth was able to execute the draw against ne, and there may some room there. mcnabb scrambling for 50+ could make it interesting...

i agree, on paper the eagles look tougher than the panthers (both getting 7)......that said i thought that ne would take carolina a bit too lightly last year and they did...dont think that happens this year to ne

plus i think they really want this dynasty title

the philly sec does have 3 pro bowlers.. i know dawkins is a force. i wasn't doubting them as much as asking can they make the differnce, or how good will they be matched up one on one. they will be tested because philly will have to blitz brady if they are to get the pressure they need to beat him. the query was posed not to slight them, but to say they will have a much bigger challenge aginst better ne rec & qb. the secondary of philly was never challenged yesterday -is my point. not to say their secondary is not talented,good,etc.
if they can produce to's off of bad throws than we may have a ball game. i just do not see philly generating much off with mcnabb/co.

can the eagles ever take the lead ? is there a possibility of eagles having lead in the 4th ? these playoffs ne has been ahead both games early - starting slower vs the colts.
