I found a marginally better price at Tradesports, but it's a betting exchange. If you're not familiar with that it can be somewhat confusing. If you've ever traded stocks though it should be a piece of cake for you to figure out.

Patriots to win the Superbowl is at 70.8 . Basically that means if you buy a contract, it costs $70.80. If they win, the contract's final value is $100. If it loses, the contract's final value is $0. You may buy multiple contracts...whatever the other users are offering. (At the moment there are 35 contracts available at that price).

Anyways if my math is right a $70.80 investment resulting in $29.20 profit equates to about -242.

Also you have the option if things are not going well of selling during the game (assuming you can find a buyer) and cutting your losses. So maybe you only lose $60 a share. Or if they are winning you can sell for less than the eventual $100 value if there is still some doubt in your mind. It trims your winnings a bit, but locks you into profit regardless of the final score. If the game changes after you're out of the market it doesn't matter. You got whatever you sold it for.

Intertops offers Pats @ -275......

CWood97, that looks like the wisest decision,
if your gonna play the patriots. I wouldn't
lay the 7.....everyone and their sister will
be on NE, as you know. Easy consensus.

Thanks GM, I will check into it. Sounds like it could save me some juice.

Thanks also for the sportsbook line surfer.

My thoughts exactly seeker. I see this game as a NE victory, but it definitely wouldn't shock me to see a 3-6 point margin. Lots of juice, but I don't mind laying out the cash on the Pats. The score that keeps popping in my head is that 31-10 rout NE put on Philly at the Linc last year. It was a long time ago, but Brady was 30-44 for 300+ and 4 TD's in that game. He's proven he can beat the Jim Johnson blitz. McNabb on the other hand, threw 3 picks against Romeo's D.

btw, after betting the Steelers last week. I've learned my lesson. Either bet on the Pats, or don't bet at all.

CWood97-

You might also consider playing a 6' or 7pt
2-team teaser; Play the Pats @ pk/-1
and then play the total. Of course, the Pats
side of it I like......the Total always involves
a little more sweat, lol. Worth some
consideration. You are correct however,
I wouldn't bet vs. NE, period.
GL to you.

I agree with seeker.Play a 6' teaser
NE - 1/2 to under 54'

this way you need NE su and for the additional risk of playing into
an inflated total line you gain +160/+170. WELL WORTH IT.

It's all about ROI.

Cwood.

If you are the confident abotu the pats, you can do a 6 point teaser with whichever you like best over/under, AND then play a alternative spread offered at most books iwth a +190 - +200 range and guarentee yourself a profit...so find the amounts that make most the pmost profit with the initial amount you were oging to invest on the game...that would be my opinion, best of luck

I do like the under, and will play it, but I am not willing to risk the ML play by teasing it with the under.

Thanks Vyrus for the idea, but the numbers don't work out. Even if I leave myself exposed on the super total (over 55' +250) the payout is less than if I went straight up on the money line at -250.

Unfortunately, no. Would love to IX, but I've got a 3 month old future Super Bowl MVP at home and momma would kill me if I left right now. Hopefully next year.
