I love Fridays because i love to play these two conferences.

Going to play Yale plus the wood tonight. i just think it is too many. I think Yale can keep this close and come away losing by 6.

Princeton laying 13 tonight seems like too many to me but when I cap the game I make them 10.5 favorites and that doesn't leave much room for error so I will pass.

Fairfield laying 11.5 seemed too many at first glance but when I crunched my numbers I actually made them 16.5 choices. I see real value in playing Fairfield -6 for the first half. Canisius has trailed at the half on the road in every game they played by an average of 5 points and this is one of the best teams they've played. I think Fairfield will go into the lockers with at least a 9 point lead.

Maybe Im wrong but I'm all over Iona in this spot. This is the type of game I love to play. When i make my power numbers before the season starts I made Iona a 47 and Marist a 32. Loyola Md and Canisius were the only two teams I had below Marist in the Meac which I pride myself on as a conference I know. Going back to Blue Ribbon they pick Marist 9th in the conference and Iona 3rd. Clearly Marist has overachieved and they have already won more games in conference than they won all year ly. They won only 6 a year ago. Iona returned 5 starters off a team that won 11 and really takes a backseat imo only to Niagara and Rider in team talent.
problem is Jeff ruland is a terrible coach and lets the inmates run the asylum. I think you will see Marist come back to the pack in the coming weeks. They have a rookie coach who like I said has them overachieving bigtime. If marist escapes with a win tonight I will be very impressed. I trust my numbers in this conference and I will take the points everytime when one of my higher rated teams is a dog, especially when the favorite has played over its head and the dog has its back to the wall. This game is a no brainer to me. Like I said I've been wrong and will be wrong in the future, but if I don't play this game I'll hate myself in the morning.

count me in. i dont mess with this conference a whole lot but every time i back iona good things happen. dumb luck probably but these clowns have the talent. just a matter of them playing like it. im following you tonight. itll give me something to watch while i cap saturdays games. fu.ck the points. im on the moneyline.

Gl guys - i'm taking the night off tonight - if i was gonna play college ball tonight i'd lay the points with almost every college club on the board- think some of those 11, 12, 14 spreads and even that marist game will be closer than most people think - but overall nothing really grabbed me tonight so i'm gonna clear the head for the weekend and see if i can end the month strong...been a good one...gl go get 'em tonight!

It wasn't my biggest bet or score of the season but it was one of the ones that felt the best. The game was not as close as it looked. It also was not decided because of 1 player missing the game. It was just a case of 1 team playing over it's talent level long enough to make vegas notice and make them favored when they do not have the talent Iona does.

Ok on to Saturday.
