a couple things (coming from a big White Sox fan)....

off my local sports radio....

Mag's agent says he, the always lean Ordonez, is 15 pounds lighter this year. :wall:

hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm

A New York reporter was on last week and talked about how the word is out that Mag's knee was/is severly torn up.

Sounds to me like his agent has done him a disservice by guiding him away from a deal with Williams and the Sox. What may have been the best deal he could have gotten.

He may be settling for less in the near future. He may find much the same distance from any deal Sammy has come across. For the same reason. Teams are staying away from players that may have used roids in the past seasons (Giambi factor).

I've never heard Mags mentioned in the juice stories. Are there allegations of that?

No

But somethings up. He was one of the top outfielders in the game and is still homeless. He's got strong offensive numbers, is a very capable outfielder, and is all about the team. Nobody has really actually given him a serious look.

That is a good point. I've always thought, when healthy, he's as good as it gets in the outfield, or at least right up there.

I wonder how bad the knee actually is. I'm curious who he signs with, b/c if he does come back healthy, he sure as hell juices (no pun intended) up the offense.

Detroit has taken a strong interest. Possible contract of 55 mil over 5 years. I believe that new park is not hitter friendly.
