looks like mike garland is here to stay at cleveland state for a long time. csu is a state-funded commuter school. rumor is that some csu assistants may leave for the nba but they will likely command high salaries. this is not good news for college basketball. looks like garland will be bringing his third straight blue-chip recruiting class to csu. the fact that he can get them all is truly amazing. csu has blue-chip recruits just 'trying' to make the traveling squad for road games. vikings also have made a push to bring blue-chip recruit gwaltney to cleveland but he is considering some west coast schools after finding out csu doesnt have a football program. he wanted to be a dual-sport athlete.

looks like what i said 3 years ago about cleveland state here on MJ's turned out to be true while most laughed. :rolleyes:

break up the cleveland state vikings.
three straight horizon league wins.

LOL!!!!...no disrespect to Scott, but both of you sure do love your hometown teams...USC football and Cleveland St. basketball, the face of college athletics
