small plays.
pepperdine (-2.5) over loyola marymount
very rudimentary approach to this one. pepperdine has won 13 straight against lmu. if lions prove they can snap the skid today, then ill gladly give the book my money. the lines are always low in this series too for some reason. if they know the series history, the lines certainly havent reflected it. ive been playing pepperdine the last few times against lmu and have cashed. going to the well again.
gonzaga over 148.5
kind of a gut feeling play here. portland is on their 3rd straight road game so not sure how much theyll have in the tank as far as stopping gonzaga's offense. gonzaga has made an effort to play some more defense lately but they might be peeking ahead to their next game, which happens to be a big one --- st.marys. normally in potential lookahead situations, the defense is where its noticeable. zags shot 51&+ in both meetings last year. portland has a couple guys that can shoot it a little bit. think were looking at a 158-160 pt game.
