4th grade homework help question....LOL

it's a *thinking* project.... need to have 6 differences between lizards and snakes, and 6 similarities between them.

legs/no legs
slithers/walks are the only 2 he has so far, and mom is NOT a lizard or snake expert

he said he can only have a *couple* physical descriptions, so there must be several mannerism differences.

Here's a weird one but it's true -- Lizards have two lungs while most snakes on have one.

How about something like lizards are great climbers and snakes obviously are not?

lizards blink their eyes, snakes do not

snakes shed their entire skin at once, lizards only shed patches of skin

lizards have external ear openings, snakes do not

lizards can regrow their tails, snakes can not

well, that may not show a similarity between snakes and lizards, but it certainly shows a similarity between your wife and myself

Don't know if you or your son are aware of "Ask Jeeves" or not. It is a great source of information on the net he can use. Just type in askjeeves and go. It will take you to the site. Type in the question such as "What are the differences between lizards and snakes?" and it will give you a wealth of info. Good luck

I would have to say offhand that a snake would be more like Eddie Haskell.

The lizard would be more like cisco.
