Would Toledo fall into your system? I have toledo about a 3pt max fav over bg with the home court, and the line is 5.5. Do you think that Vegas wants you to take BG + the points? And I see the majority of the people on BG. I have Toledo as my strongest play in the mac this year.

Toledo should have been a 3 point favorite. Vegas opened at 5. its a no bet fo me but vegas thinks Toledo is stronger than the data numbers.I need a 3 points or more ML swing for it to be a bet.

Warning. Watch out for the UMass/RI game Umass should be a 7 1/2 fav (Vegas early line RI 1 point fav) . My play based on my system would have been RI -1 but spread exceeds the 8 point rule. The game is now a 50/50 bet. Stay away don't get suckered to bet UMass.

I was lucky yesterday and got -8 on Penn game for a push. Hope others where lucky also. Sorry about that one . Penn is the better team they just woke up a little late.

My plays for 2/9 are:

Purdue -10.5 should be -6
NC - 2 should be +2
Arkansas -19 should be -16

Also be careful with the FSU/Virginia game .Vegas is looking for you to bet Virginia. Stay away game was very, very, close to being a selection . It would have been FSU as the pick but their qfactor has dropped almost 4 points this month which means they could be a tired team.

The UNC line was set at UNC -2 because if they would have set it at Duke -2 they knew they would have been swamped with UNC money. As it is, UNC -2, they are swamped with UNC money.

In the Fordham/st bonnie game line was too low to begin with and has dropped even more. Cant ever recommend a team as bad as St. Bonaventure, but can recommend to not bet Fordham.
i thought that line would be 19 so with the drop it would def be a play for me if the other was anyone but st bon

Was on Penn State thinking to myself that Purdue had no business laying double digits, but I guess the joke was on me tonight. You had that one pegged.

You take an interesting approach but I do agree with the principal that siding with the house can be a profitable move. Continued success.

The ball just didnt bounce your way. I agree Purdue had no right being a double digit favorite. But my system said play them. I dont twwek the picks, based only on numbers.

I need a NC rally or ill have my second losing day since posting.

.

Eh, I broke one of my own rules tonight and lost because of it. I hate laying money on shitty teams like Penn State, because you can't trust them on the road regardless of opponent. Some nights they just beat themselves, and tonight was the case. Wouldn't have mattered who their opponent was they weren't going to win on this night. Again good call and good luck with the Heels to finish out the night.

Thanks for the picks tonight Billy. We lost but you cant win them all...We'll do better tomorrow.

By the way, is Roy Williams the most overrated coach in the country?

Dont want to start a bashing thread on Royboy but it seems like everyone says how good he is but he didnt even have a play called for the final 15 seconds of the game. After the game Reddick said he knew what play they were going to call because they called the same play against UCONN. He said he knew he had to defend McCants from the ball and when you look at the replay thats exactly what he did.
In my opinion that is great coaching by Coach K to have the scouting report ready for his team, and horrible coaching by Williams.
Am I right or totally off?

GLTA

Ray had the wide open drive or the uncontested 15 footer -- he just choked and picked up the dribble. It wasn't the play, it was the poor execution this time. I'm not a fan of either team, just giving objective commentary. I can't blame this one on Royboy.

Just my opinion....but if Felton pulls up and hits that shot everyone is saying what a great play Roy designed .I think it was a great game and it was alot of fun to watch.

It was definately a great game. Your probably right. I guess when Reddick said that after the game, it just made me think.
