I read yesterday's thread and it is time for all of us, to just sit back and shut up, especially you Scott, and monitor the picks. Maybe I'll get Jack to just make Billy's thread a "view only" thread.

Got preoccupied yesterday and never looked at line movement. I bet opening line on sportfan&&k.com and got -7 thought it would go lower . Sorry to those who lost the game, the post yesterday by dodgerblue was correct. Oregon was the better play. But as i have said I don't follow anything at all just use the raw data and bet the system. I'm sure people that have been playing my selections are still in the green with or without the Washington game. I only started posting because I was having such success and wanted everyone to win as well.
The system might be a fluke but it does pick allot of winners. But as always use your own choices and use my games as a guide. Last time I looked Billy Blastoff isn't listed in the Bible. :em71:

heres an idea (for real)

poor billy makes a post, gets over a 1000 views and gets about 70% nice comments and about 30% negative comments. usually every day someone gets on his thread and starts bashing something of his, next thing you know the thread is 35 replies long and most of it is bickaring back and forth, and nothing about the plays.

my idea is that billy posts his plays, and the thread immediately gets closed so it stops the nonsense bullcrap that goes on day after day in his threads.

so his plays still get posted and everyone gets to see them, but no arguments start. if this is a bad idea, then im just an idiot, and dont know what im talking about, just disregard this message completely if you think im wrong.

This is an Internet forum, and I think people can voice their opinions, as long as it is not malicious or condescending! But to censor his threads, I dont believe thats the answer :scared

I am one of the many who is appreciative of the immense contribution Billy B brings to this forum, but am even more impressed with his restraint in the face of imbecilic behavior of the jealous naysayers.

You see this kind of inexplicable glitch of human nature, unfortunately, every time this type of thing occurs, in various forums where someone rises up and creates a buzz by doing something noteworthy. It demonstrates strenghth of character to shrug off the b.s that accompanies the recognition of exceptioal achievement.

Enough of the chatter already, just keep the good work coming. Billy Blastoff's thread is the first thing I check everyday, and while there is some cheap entertainment value of the soap-opera-like drama contaiined within, the only thing really necessary is the initial entry by Billy B himself.

As for me, needless to say I'll be on Penn tonight, and hope I don't need another miraculous run in the last 5 minutes of regulation and overtime for a push. Hope the Quakers know what time tonight's game starts.

Billy B., I guess I got very lucky last night. I took the 2nd half bet at -7 (they were down by 4 so had to win by 3) and thanks to a great closing to get to OT I picked up a bit of change.

Which brings up the question, have you monitored your covers to see if an even highe % were down in the 1st half and responded at least well enough to get 2nd half cover?

Just a thought and may offer a great opportunity.

Thanks for sharing. I like the fact that emotion is removed from your picks and, like all other's selections, we followers may bet or not.

I am not surprised at the jealousy others show.

Billy, love your system & your restraint in the forum is amazing. I'd be going off on those idiots. Why Jack hasn't stopped it is beyond me, you deserve better. Please keep posting, you've got far more fans than haters.
