Good to see you on Pitt. Hey, you may wanna check that Q Factor a little closer. Oregon State was fresh the entire game against Washington. I have a feeling the factor doesn't account for low scoring/slow paced games like OSU played against Washington State the game before Sunday's. Anyways, keep up the great work!

The Q factor is based on last 5 games in order with latest game the predominant numbers. If you read what I said yesterday My system liked Oregon State but problem with Q factor made it a no bet. Its obvious we had a very strong beaver team and so close to valentines day.

Of course I read what you said about the game several times and I understand exactly what you're getting at. . .its great that your Q Factor takes into account the last five games but if it predomitely takes into account the very last game played as the case with Oregon State then you may want to adjust for low scoring/slow tempo games that are abnormal as the case was when Oregon State played Washington State because WSU likes a slow tempo game. This is why the numbers would be significantly lower and I think that is why your Q-Factor rendered OSU a no-play.


Your system is great as your record shows, but there's ALWAYS room for improvement and that's all I'm trying to help with. . . I believe that's what this site is all about. Gl

Vaseuro...Billy's #'s say that Pitt should be getting 10. The Vegas line is Pitt only getting 5 1/2. Therefore Billy's system says that Vegas knows something that "we" the betting public don't know. Billy will trust the linesmakers in Vegas and bet Pitt,because they "appear" to not be getting enough points but Vegas thinks they are.Hope this makes sense.gl.

I know it is a system that you work by and it spits out numbers plus your Q factor. What I am having a hard time with is how could it say Cuse -10. Records are close and rankings aren't that far off, plus Pitt beat them already. Let's take a deeper look into this, they were a 4.5 and 8 point favortie of UCONN and ND, respectively. One would think the line would fall in between that, hence 5.5 or 6. Not questioning you, just making an observation. Good luck.

This is probably what everyone who has bet the games record is . i placed bets at opening if you waited several games you would have recieved better odds due to the fact I bet against logic.

The idea is fairly simple but clever. BB's idea is that if the Possums are playing the Ferrets and Vegas is giving the Possums 10 points when they should be giving the Possums 5, then Vegas is trying to throw action towards the Possums and is actually putting money on the game. Bet the Ferrets.
