to a washington state vs. air force game ................................................................................................would you go?

question number two is what would the vegas total be set at? i honestly think it would be set in the high 90s.

just some random midnight thoughts.

incidentally, i actually dont mind watching air force every now and then. they really do run a true 'motion' offense. too many teams run around and interchange and set lame screens. falcons actually run motion to perfection.

No way in hell I would go. . . I'm a big fan of defense but honestly, the way Air Force plays the game is boring. I can't imagine their fans actually enjoy watching this team.

vinnie:

im going under 62 for the 2nd half. air force cant expect to come back from 11 down again if they allow the lobos to get out and score easy baskets. ive been wrong before, but i dont see this 2h topping more than 56 or 57 pts. to answer your question specifically....i think youre safe with the under 116.5 for sure.

Hell yes I'd take it. I got to see my school go to the Final Four as a junior in college with a suck ass team because of Dick... the least I could do to thank him would be to get drunk at dinner and make an ass out of myself at courtside in support of his squad!

good point. he's obviously always been a good coach, but i think he deserves even more credit now for what hes doing at wazzou. for wsu to be competing in the pac10 despite being overmatched athletically says a lot about his system and coaching ability.

wazzu is actually fairly ath;etic....thomas kelati is a stud and jeff varum is solid as a rock....where wazzu gets into trouble is they really can't shoot the ball.

and yes....it is a snooze fest watching them play..the good thing from a gambling perspective is that their games are usually over in 1:45 letting you know if you won-lost pretty quickly.

what does bill walton always say that john wooden says

"never confuse activity for achievement"

that is what i think when i watch these type of teams run an offense....passes 30 ft from the basket, nobody looking to shoot, nobody in a position to receive a pass that leads to a shot, etc.....seems like the point is to run at LEAST 20-25 seconds, little else matters
