This one is all UC-Irvine, as three weeks ago they kicked the crap out of LB State, 78-58, in a game where the Anteaters shot over 55% from the floor to State's measley 30%.

The Anteaters are 7-3 SU and 6-4 ATS their last 10 on the road as a favorite of three or less, and face a LB State team that is 2-4 SU and ATS their last six at home as a dog of three or less.

considering marquette was playing without one of the best scorers in the nation that game, im not sure if that first meeting means a whole lot. if anything, marquette winning the last 3 prior to that is noteworthy, and two of those were in louisville. as for marquette struggling with ecu, id have to say that louisville losing outright by DD at home as a near 20-pt chalk to memphis is a little more alarming.

id be a little more concerned with how louisville plays on the road vs good teams. those two games vs. tulane and southern miss (who are damn near division II teams) will skew a lot of stats. but i dont particularly like the way louisville has played on the road vs good teams. needed a big 2h rally to beat cincy. needed a late 2h rally to beat uab. lost outright to houston. vs anyone of substance, theyve been very beatable. vs. the scrubs of the conference, they look like world beaters.
