given wake's history in duke as well as the devils' wire-to-wire win over carolina in durham, i think we might see 4.5 or 5. tough call on that game. wake is my pick to win it all, but really dont think they will get out of town with a win and will hard pressed to cover.

Duke usually comes back strong at home after a loss like they had at V Tech.

Home cooking with refs will help.

We have seen weakness in Duke that usually does not occur this time of year. That does not bode well for them in March Madness.
I just can't see them making the final four.

Doubt if Duke drops to 18-5 though.

Maybe a moneyline play on Duke would work out.

Honestly would not be surprised to see Wake Forest pull off the win. . . again, I don't think we are dealing with the same Duke team as in previous years. Yet there are many that look to the past and say "well, Duke always seems to play well after a loss. . ." but look what happened against VT after the loss to Maryland. The fact that they lost twice to Maryland this season alone should tell you something.

Yeh but it was away games.

We all know Duke plays differant at Cameron even with overrated team they have.

The two Maryland losses have to concern Duke people.

That don't happen with a final four team.

Coach K puts it in reality with this quote after a reporter asked him if he thought he had a great team this yr like in the past few years and he said,

"Mike, this year we dont have a great team like in years past, but we do have a good team."

Think that sums it up, they arent as good they have been in the past years........

Yeah I was hoping the line would be a couple points lower, but still like Duke in this situation. Wake is the better team, but not enough to make up for the homecourt advantage. I see duke winning by 8-10 points.
