Nice to have the day off. . . looks like a great card on Saturday:

LSU +3 over Florida BEST BET

Best value on the board IMO. Florida is medicore on the road.

Providence +1 over Notre Dame Big

Virginia +4 over Maryland Big

Colorado -2 over Texas A&M Big

Only big plays today. . . probably will stick with five so I'm researching hard for one more. Considering Cuse over BC but a little hesitant.

Notre Dame had covered the last six games ATS before Georgetown and depending on the line that you got either covered, pushed or barely lost against the Hoyas. I think the public will be on Notre Dame for the wrong reasons. GL

well you're only getting 1 so in order to win the bet providence has to win the game......this team has an amazing knack for coming so close....only to lose...+1 wont be enough

You might be right but yes, I am expecting Providence to win. They shoot the ball well at home while Notre Dame usually does not shoot well on the road. Providence should have a sour taste in their mouths after losing to UConn in double OT.

they have had plenty of chances to get rid of sour tastes in their mouths this year.....but haven't. their only home win in conf was vs a bad rutgers team.

i'm passing on these losers, but good luck to you.

I always appreciate the opinions. . . just a play I have to make in this spot. A lot will depend on Notre Dame shooting the three ball. . . if they hit a good percentage, they will probably win. . .

nd has been playing well lately and shooting very well but have also been losing close games on the road......in my opinion this game is a heart-attack waiting to happen for whoever you bet on....no lead is safe in this game.....and i have a feeling somebody will collapse to lose the game....hopefully for you, you are on the right side.

Rebounding for Notre Dame has been horrid to say the least. . . average the last five games is 19 while giving up 26. Combine that with the fact that Providence shoots well at home and I believe this is a solid play.

We'll just have to see. . . I agree Providence doesn't instill confidence in me or probably anyone but when does Vegas release a great line on a team that everyone is confident in? Hardly ever unless they want money on them.

i dont think any public angle is applicable to providence. they have been such a fu.ckin moneyburner. public loved bc against 'em when friars were laying 1.5. public loved uconn against 'em. public loved pitt against 'em on big monday. the failed to cover any of those. also dont like the way this game sets up. they finally had a chance to get a big win to salvage a lame season against uconn. they were really geared up for that one and had snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. big emotional letdown to go from being so close to winning in regulation and OT to then falling apart in 2OT. no secret that ive been a big believer in the friars as far as talent goes, but think youre putting money on a team that FINDS ways to lose. even if providence does get the win, just not sure its risk/reward is worth it, especially on a card with so many gms. take it from someone who has given providence plenty of chances this season.

Looks like gman and gjn were right about Providence. . . ughhhh. . . Notre Dame misses their first 10 shots from the field yet has a 7 point lead at the half thanks to Providence tanking it at the line and letting the Irish get back in it with threes. Will take a miracle to cover now.
