ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is doubling its reward to $2,000 in hopes of finding whoever mutilated at least four cats by cutting off their ears.

At least four cats have been found with the tops of their ears missing at two Rochester-area mobile parks in recent months. Two of the cats have been taken to the Paws and Claws Humane Society in the past month. The animals are in good health and can still hear.

anyone else see any flaws in this?? hint: i have a cat that is missing the top of one ear, and looks like another one will be going sortly. (poor kitty) :(

Hitman, if you mean post #1 .... PETA needs to take classes on freaken FROSTBITE!!!!!!! i highly doubt anyone is cutting off the top of these cats ears. it's MINNESOTA for crying out loud, they are apparently cats that live outdoors if they were *found* at a trailer park..... we only had a couple weeks straight in January where the temp never got above zero.

if you mean post #2 ... it refers to the expression *look what the cats drug in* (review the list of todays posters) ;)

geez, where is YYZ when i need him.....he'll know what i was getting at in post #2.

post 1 was just an article from our newspaper that tells me that PETA doesn't have a clue if they think these cats have been mutilated.

If the subject is Peta not having a clue, try this:they sent a letter to the Gov of Alaska, telling him that they wanted him to ban fishing for our #1 sportfish, the King Salmon (world record 97 1/4 lber comes from the Kenai River, where I fish all spring/summer/fall) with the explanation that "fish are sentient, interesting creatures who feel pain."Ok,the debate about fish feeling pain or not will prove to interesting, but the heading of the freakin' letter listed our Gov's name Frank Murkowski, and then where the title is supposed to go they put Gov of Alabama.they are out of it on all counts.

I have a whole ton of PETA quotes saved in case this subject ever comes up in case I need to prove what idiots they are. Seems like everybody here agrees, so there's no need to post them at this time.
