People handicapping Kansas.....

I have read lots of posts on lots of different message boards and everyone is on Kansas tonight. That is fine, they are a good team, but what is the reason I hear?

Well.....Kansas CANT lose 3 in a row!

Are you sure? And why cant they? I just think it is comical that everyone is putting money on a team that obviously isnt playing well right now. I am not even sure how good this team is anyways.....


Langford cant shoot.....he can create, but if he gets fouled, his free throwing for a guard is horrible. JR Giddens is a VERY streaky shooter....if he is off, who do you go to? Miles doesnt like to shoot very often, so he can feed it into Simien, but thats about it. Moody is a weak little player that cleans up misses, but not much else....and he is probably going to be out for this game.

I think Oklahoma is too tough at home.....and Vega sis outright telling you that Kansas will lose based on them being the dog in this game......

I COMPLETLEY AGREE...Why can't Kansas lose 3 in a row? ITs not like they wont make it to the tourney, theyll make it regardless...that cant lose theory is nonsense

and i like kansas in this game.

but they cant lose 3 in a row? um, why not? every good team has a rough stretch.

Does the fact that Kansas opened as a favorite and moved to a dog make a difference? Is the betting public really on Kansas? Did the line move in spite of it?

These are the questions I've been asking myself. I like OU, but my gut is telling me Kansas....inexplicably...

one would think Kansas comes out playing as hard as they played all year

OU is not playing that well either right now

both guards have been benched although lavender played a good game sat....but that was against a scrub from KState....tonight he gets miles

with bill self as the head coach they could lose ten in a row and it wouldn't surprise me

NJ: Well...it is no secret that higher bettors are on Oklahoma. It also should be no secret that the common "public" thought is that Kansas will get back on track tonight. So with the line moving to Oklahoma, that tells me that the public is on Kansas, but "wise guys" are on Okie.

Freeze: Agreed that Oklahoma is not playing well......the guards are not getting the job done.....I dont think they are creating shots for themselves, which puts a lot of pressure on Bookout and Gray. In my opinion, Kansas' guards are over rated also, so we will have to wait and see how this one shakes out.
