Something is fishy here. Wisc GB starts at only -4.5 when they are 17-8 (10-4) and at home vs Detroit 10-15 (7-7) and WGB already beat Detroit by 6 in Detroit.

On top of that, the line has now dropped to WGB -2. Something is going on here.

a couple things play into this line imo:

1) green bay is playing for nothing here. uwgb and milwaukee have already locked up the #1 and #2 seeds in the conf. tournament as well as byes to the semifinal rounds. not sure exactly what is at stake for detroit, but i do know that this one means little to the phoenix.

2) still dont think uwgb is all theyre cracked up to be. really doubt theyll even make the title game of the conf. tourney.

detroit is an enigma though. when they want to play, they can beat anyone (including milwaukee, which they did on the road earlier this yr) but theyre maddeningly inconsistent.

pass for me. just figured id throw that info out there though/.

What i like about Gb is how they play error free ball and disrupt other teams- they can play an upbeat tempo or half court with success- Detroit just is not very disciplined especially on the road- This is gb last home game with 3 seniors who will see plenty of time.

It is senior night at uwgb so i feel they will put up a good effort uwgb is 10-4 in the league you can say they dont look like much but they are doing something Detroit is playing for nothing as well and in my college experience there is nothing worse than having to go on the road late in the year when you are ready for the season to get over I think GB gets the money tonight good luck everyone

while im not sold on green bay, i do have to agree with thunder on his point about playing error free. they dont beat themselves and they do a good job of working shot clock if they have to. you can play 30 secs of good D and theyll look totally clueless...and then hit a backdoor layup on you. they did that against csu at critical times to sneak out of cle with a win. dont necessarily agree that detroit is undisciplined. watson runs a tight ship. both teams can be deliberate. should be a good game tonight.

My updated record on Illinois plays is 14-4, that includes sides, totals, fh sides/totals and 2nd half sides/totals. To be honest, I dont see much of a play on this game right now. I have not looked into it too much b/c I have been too busy but I will let you know after I check some things out. Right now the line looks about right.

Illinois -11 FH, small play. In recent games, NW was down at half by 13, 6, 16, 5, 15 at Iowa, Minny, Wisc, Mich and MSU respectively. Illinois was up by 8 at halftime at NW and won by 12 despite NW shooting 57%. There is no way they will shoot above 42% tonight at Assembly Hall. I dont like Illinois -21 for the game b/c I feel with a big lead they will rest their starters a bit to keep them fresh for the Big Ten tourney and NCAA tourney. Illinois will be up 41-27 at the half. Thats my BOLD prediction

I don't have a play on this game but the money is almost 50 / 50 and you don't think they cover so I like your boys to cover, ILL wins by 25. It doesn't make sense but the gut says they cover.I have seen to much NW chatter today.
